how much do live bands get paid per hour at a wedding?
im writing a short story and its one of the details i need.
Our band quoted us $1000 flat. It was a 2-piece band. They were there for 5 hours.

Our latin jazz band is $5700 for 1 hour of a trio for cocktail hour, 4.5 hours of an 8 piece band and 3 hours of a DJ. It's probably more than others but they are a famous band who does like celebrity stuff. Plus since there are so many members they do each need to get paid. I hope this helps.
