Firstly, the law now states that you must have a current License for busking. Without that, the police will force you to move on.

Secondly, there are rules about playing music before and after a certain time of day, so, depending on when you intend to be there, you’ll need to check on those times.

Thirdly, although you will need to be a bit loud to be heard over all the traffic, you will be expected to keep the volume reasonable. Basically, if people complain, lower the volume.

You need to be licensed to play music in a public place, this is why police always move on buskers who do not have an ‘official’ pitch.
