What bands/singers are good on electronics but suck live?

I heard that Katy Perry sucks really bad when she’s having a live performance.
But then I wouldn’t know.

So what bands/singers you thought sounded real good but were disappointed to hear them perform on stage?

Any real electronic band will almost always be better live than they are in the studio. Justice, Girl Talk, Ratatat, etc all play ridiculously good live shows because they know how to manipulate the samples they use with the equipment they have. You probably meant the phrase "good on electronics" differently though.

    A lot of bands now-days have their stuff digitally edited. I can’t think of many to name off hand, but you can just youtube them live before-hand if you’re thinking of buying concert tickets.

    Well I’ve watched my share of YouTube videos of my favorite artists performing live, and probably the most disappointing was Fall Out Boy. A lot of people don’t like them, but Patrick Stump’s vocals are amazing on his recordings. Live, not so much…Katy Perry I don’t really like, but yeah she sucks as well.

    MGMT is horrible live
    they dont even play the keyboard for some songs they use recordings with live performances
